I am new to oracle and currently trying to download oracle’s webcenter 12.2.1c using virtual box. I am running into the problem where once I enter the /oracle/scripts/vm…. script I enter “2” then as the console is loading the necessary attributes I get the error message of the one you have listed on your site. Error number 256 – no mirrors to try. I have been stuck on this page for quite some time and looks like you are the only other person that seemed to run into this problem and wondering if you can shed some light.
Yes, I did have the same problem. What is happening is that the connection is trying to go through a proxy at Oracle. Not finding that proxy, it can’t continue. You need to comment out the call to connect to the proxy. I’ll try to find where that was and let you know.
